Buzz Psychology is a little project I have had swishing around my mind for years, so in 2025 I am taking the chance to make it happen!

I'm an experienced Educational Psychologist, passionate about supporting children and young people to thrive. I am a chartered HCPC registered EP co-leading Telford & Wrekin LA EP service, where I began my post-doctoral career.
My expertise includes clinical supervision and coaching for EPs and TEPs, ensuring that professionals in the field receive the guidance they need to achieve all they aspire to. I am also dedicated to fostering research collaboration for publishing and run an occasional special interest group space exploring the Grid Elaboration Method (delightfully shortened to the 'GEM') for researchers and anyone curious to know more.

I balance a happy career as an EP with performing with a wide range of ensembles. This is me performing with the Jarualda Quartet on my beloved viola, Alma
Why 'Buzz Psychology'?
I love the idea of EPs being 'Agents of Hope', which has taken hold across our profession. And for me, 'Buzz Psychology' emanates positive vibes of sharing and cross-pollinating; hive minds creating a buzz of optimism, hope and aspiration. We need our little bees to survive, and we need one another to thrive. Share the buzz with me!

Thinking about the nourishment EPs need, Buzz Circles for EPs offer a monthly gathering where professionals can connect, slow the pace, lean in to genuine curiosity and co-create fresh insights.
Whether you're bringing a thorny dilemma, a half-formed nugget of an idea or simply wish to stretch your mind and connect, Buzz Circles offer a facilitated thinking space for EPs, led by values of compassion and connection.
Each Buzz Circle, facilitated by Jane, runs on a Monday from either 1pm-2.30pm or 6pm-7.30pm to enable flexibility around working and personal lives. Buzz Circles run via MS Teams for up to 90 minutes and create space for a maximum of eight EPs, to ensure we have plentiful space for listening and collaboration.
As Buzz Circles enhance EP knowledge and skills, and the service we provide to the communities we serve, time spent here counts as CPD for HCPC-registered EPs.
